Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Free Downloads Yours For A Limited Time

After years of speculation and months waiting since its official announcement, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is finally here, and overall it has gone down pretty well. The controversy around microtransactions aside, the game itself is, by most accounts, very fun to play, and the additions made by the dev team fit in well with the original release. We’ll have to wait and see how much of a commercial success the game proves to be for Ubisoft, but if it does do well, more remakes could be the order of the day moving forward. Until then, if you are planning to board the Jackdaw and sail the Caribbean seas, there are some free downloads available for you to add to your collection.

As confirmed by AC Brotherhood News over on Twitter/X, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been included in the latest series of Twitch Drops. Specifically, players can pick up two downloads by watching up to four hours of the game over on the streaming site, as long as you do so before the offer goes away on August 3. The two items you can claim are the Cheetah Claw Cat ship’s pet and Rustborne Swords by watching for four hours and two hours respectively. Bearing in mind these are items you can grab by just having a stream on in the background while you work or play, it’s well worth doing if you’re planning on working through the game for the next couple of weeks. These reports come as part of Twitch’s wider Summer Drops Fest, with hundreds of rewards available for watching streams on the site across the biggest games in the world. These mostly come in the form of cosmetics for many titles, including Apex Legends, League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, and Sea of Thieves (for more piratical fun). The dates vary depending on the game you’re watching rewards for, so it’s worth checking out the official summary page to make sure you’re tuning in on the right dates.

Rewards for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced are active right now, so why not get involved heading into the weekend? Kenway’s adventures really do remain some of the best that Ubisoft have ever managed to conjure up, and the new visuals make the whole experience a lot more visceral than it otherwise might be. There’s also plenty of new content to enjoy, so it’s absolutely a different game than the one we got all those years ago.
