K-Pop Demon Hunters Officially Returns July 31

It is hard to believe that it was almost a year ago that KPop Demon Hunters took the world by storm. Released on Netflix on 20 June 2025, the animated musical movie followed the story of K-Pop girl group, Huntrix, who, when not performing, are hunting down demons in their spare time. However, when rival band, Saja Boys, turn out to be demons themselves, the girls must battle with their feelings and their duty. By the end of 2025, KPop Demon Hunters became Netflix’s most-watched original title of all time, bagging itself over 500 million views. Its soundtrack also hit the Billboard Top 100 and reached double platinum in the US in October 2025. Praised for its visuals, animation, voice acting, story, and music, KPop Demon Hunters became a cultural phenomenon, and more recently, a sequel was announced to be in development.

Now that the hype has calmed down ever so slightly, and children have stopped screaming the lyrics directly into my ear in public, a recent announcement proves that there is still a dedicated fanbase who may want to keep an eye on this upcoming release. Courtesy of tabletop games, trading card games and accessories company Asmodee, KPop Demon Hunters will receive a dedicated version of the hit game Spot-It! Set to launch on 31 July, this exclusive version of Spot-It! will see Zoey, Mira, and Rumi continue their world tour. Launching alongside 55 cards, a tin featuring the three main characters, and a rules booklet, users can expect everything they know and love from the Netflix hit in one stunning package. Marketed for 2-8 players, this KPop Demon Hunters Spot-It! is for ages 6+ with each game expected to last around 15 minutes. Not only that, but it is set to retail at $10.99, so it will make the perfect addition to stockings during the holidays.

If you are anything like me, you would have no idea what Spot-It! actually is so let me catch you up to speed. Spot-It! is a portable card game for 2–8 players and will put your pattern recognition skills to the test. Also known as Dobble in some parts of the world, Spot-It! contains 55 cards, with each containing 8 symbols each. It will be your job to go head-to-head with other players to match two cards sharing one identical symbol. Whoever matches the most in the least time will be the winner.

So, we can imagine that the KPop Demon Hunters version will see you match some familiar images taken from the Netflix movie, and I do not know about you, but that seems like a pretty good time for the kids or adult kids amongst us.
