Elden Ring: How To Get All Eye Alterations
While there are many ways to modify your appearance in Elden Ring, you can also alter your eyes once a specific requirement has been met. The color of a character’s eyes can change in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim when you contract Vampirism. Similarly, your character can change their eyes after experiencing a particular event or progressing through a certain questline. There are three eye alterations you can get: Dragon Eyes, Frenzied Flame Eyes, and Blood Eyes. As one might expect, Dragon Eyes gives you eyes like a dragon, with a golden yellow iris/sclera and snake-like slits for pupils. On the other hand, Frenzied Flame Eyes turn one’s sclerae ink-black while changing the irises and pupils into a maddening haze of colors resembling Frenzied Flame Incantations. Finally, Blood Eyes cause Tarnished eyes to become bloodshot, turning the outer eye red while leaving the pupils black.
Players who get eye alterations they don’t want can remove them in the character customization mirror.
How To Get The Dragon Eye Alteration

The easiest eye alteration to obtain is Dragon Eyes, which you can buy with four Dragon Communion Incantations using Dragon Hearts. You can buy the Incantations at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid or the Church of Dragon Communion in Limgrave. To actually get the hearts, you need to slay dragons across the course of the game. We recommend taking out the Magma Wyrms near Volcano Manor and Mount Gelmir, as they’re easier prey. Magma Wyrms have very easy, predictable combat patterns, and they’re closely tied to the concept of morphing via Dragon Eyes. It’s the perfect way to acclimate to the lore of what you’re getting yourself into when consuming Dragon Hearts. That said, you can also spring for any type of dragon. For instance, you’ll encounter Flying Dragon Agheel right away in Limgrave, so that’s an early option to get one-fourth of the way there.

How To Get The Frenzied Flame Eye Alteration

To get the Frenzied Flame Eyes in Elden Ring, you must open the secret door at the bottom of the spire of corpses in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds beneath Leyndell, Royal Capital. To access this area, you must make your way through the underground dungeon sewers to reach the Cathedral of the Forsaken. After defeating Mohg the Omen, you can enter the hidden Illusory passage behind the site’s altar and complete a tricky platforming challenge to reach the lowest level. Keep in mind that this location is accessible both before and after the world-changing event in which Leyndell becomes the Ashen Capital in Elden Ring.
How To Get The Red Eye Alteration

Elden Ring’s Red Blood Eyes are acquired via progressing through White Mask Varré’s questline. Also known as White-Faced Varré, this NPC is a devout follower of the Lord of Blood and wishes to invite you into his “bloodthirsty” family. During his questline, you must retrieve the blood-soaked cloth of a Finger Maiden and invade other players’ worlds three times.
To start the quest, you’ll need to access Roundtable Hold and speak to Two Fingers. Then, White Mask Varré will head to the Rose Church in Liurnia, where you can kick everything off and invade three other players. Once these prerequisites are completed, Varré will tear your finger off and hand it back to you. Accordingly, Elden Ring’s red eyes will appear on the player once they’ve received the Bloody Finger from Varré. This will happen immediately, so ensure you’re ready for the transformation before turning in the quest. If you’re into these specific cosmetic alterations, this is a way to get some extra juice out of all Elden Ring has to offer.
